Charles R. Venator Santiago
2007/2008 Faculty-in-Residence

Charles R. Venator Santiago, PhD is the 2007-2008 Faculty-in-Residence for the Department of Residential Life. Dr. Santiago also has a joint appointment with the Department of Political Science and Puerto Rican & Latino Studies Institute (PRLSI). As the 2007-2008 Faculty-in-Residence, Dr. Santiago will reside in an on-campus staff apartment located in the Russell Hall building of the Northwest Quadrangle.

Dr. Santiago received his M.A. and Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. He offers more than fifteen years of experience working with residence life, campus life, and student affairs programs. As an experienced educator, Dr. Santiago has taught at a variety of public and private institutions. Passionate about the subjects of international relations, immigration, and political theory, Dr. Santiago recently served as an Assistant Professor in the Politics Department of Ithaca College.

In his leisure time, Dr. Santiago likes to bike, hike, play dominoes, fish, and sail.
