Bob Vieth
2000-2002 Faculty-in-Residence
Bob Vieth worked with the Department of Residential Life as a Faculty-in-Residence during 2000-2002. As the Faculty-in-Residence for two academic years, he lived in South Campus as a role model, mentor, and educator to residential students. A professor and researcher, Vieth served the University of Connecticut for more than two decades. During his tenure with UConn, he chaired Frontiers in Undergraduate Research and Creativity, acted as a research scientist in biotechnology, served as a research associate in microbiology, and taught a variety of undergraduate science courses. Vieth is a graduate of the University of Connecticut (1977).
